3 Digital Sticker Hacks for GoodNotes (plus 162 Free GoodNotes Stickers)

If you love the idea of using GoodNotes as a bullet journal, to organize your life with digital planning, or simply want to spruce up your notes with something fun to look at, we’ve got some tips on how to do it better.
Here are 3 digital sticker hacks to help you take advantage of everything digital paper can do. (Read ‘til the end to grab some digital sticker freebies!)
1. Turn stickers into links
You can link typed text in GoodNotes to external web pages, to enrich your notes without cluttering the page. So how do you link a sticker?
Here’s where the hack comes in:
- Using the text tool, add a link to any web page to a text box
- Change the color of the text to match the paper template, so it becomes invisible
- Insert an element or sticker on top of it
Voila! Now when you tap on the sticker, you also open the link.
2. Make your own digital stickers and elements
The Elements Tool in GoodNotes allows you to save virtually anything to re-insert across all your notes. This includes:
- Stickers, stamps, and images
- Handwriting, like mathematical formulas or calligraphy
- Textboxes
- Diagrams, like graphs, shapes, and chemical equations
So if there’s anything you find yourself writing over and over again, or if you’ve drawn a particularly cute illustration, save it as an element.
Simply circle any object with the Lasso Tool and tap “Add Element”. And there’s your new sticker or element!
3. Turn the Elements Tool into a sticker book
If you want to keep your stickers on hand while you work or write, open the Elements Tool in split screen.
Here’s how:
- Open the Elements Picker
- Tap the square icon with a line through it in the top right
